In hopes of highlighting the heroes of the Pandemic, in conjunction with releasing six dolls inspired by real frontline workers, Mattel also created a nurse, doctor and paramedic Barbie for their “Play it Forward” campaign. For each doll sold at Target, Mattel donated $5 to the First Responders Children’s Foundation (1stRCF).
During my internship (2021), I had the honor of shooting photos of the paramedic Barbie with Lancaster EMS’ personnel for 1stRCF, which were then used for both organizations’ websites and social media platforms.
