Was honored to be welcomed back to Avon Grove High School last Thursday as an alum! I think being featured on AGTV makes me officially canon in the Avon Grove Cinematic Universe (AGCU). I got to give a presentation about the evolution of my work, as well as share some words of wisdom that hopefully resonated (you can download the presentation as a PDF at the button below). On a more personal note: As a former teen who struggled a lot during that time, it was really fulfilling to pass along what I needed to hear.
My former professor, Dr. Chang, and I also shot some stuff for his documentary, Silent War. The students were really engaged and just overall lovely to work with. Thank you AG & Ms. Martorello for having us!! We can’t wait to return for the free screening 🙂
